COLOURFUL, PLAYFUL AND HOPELESSLY A DREAMER

THE THING IS THAT I LOVE CAPTURING STORIES. I WANT YOU TO SHINE THROUGH OUT THE DAY AND MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A MOVIESTAR. I FIND THAT LIGHT AND AIRY NORE DARK AND MOODY SUIT WHAT WEDDING ARE ALL ABOUT. I WANT THINGS TO BE REAL BUT ALSO FULL OF LIFE: COLOURFUL, PUNCHY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY FULL OF YOU.

SOMETIMES A LIGHT MOOD WORKS THE BEST OR A MORE DRAMATIC TOUCH SETS THE TONE, BUT OVERALL THE IDEA IS TO SHOW

JOY

TEARS

LAUGHTER

LOVE

ON YOUR BIGGREST DAY.

AT THIS POINT I'VE BEEN apart of over a 100 WEDDINGS AND STILL FEEL THE BUTTERFLY TINGLES AT EVERY PARTY.

This is me

THE BEST WAY TO GET TO KNOW WHAT I AM ALL ABOUT IS

BY FLOATING ABOUT THIS WEBSITE AND FEELING THE IMAGES, AND IF THEY SPEAK TO YOU SEND ME A MESSAGE AND LETS MEET UP AN CHAT!

IN GOOD OLD FINNISH FASHION I CAN'T RESIST A CUP OF COFFEE OR IF A SPICIER ATMOSPHERE IS IN ORDER A MARGARITA ALWAYS FITS THE FIESTA MOOD.

ALL IN ALL I'M A NICE GUY AND WOULD HAPPILY SPEND AN AFTERNOON CHATTING ABOUT YOUR IDEAS, HOPES, DREAMS AND MAKING SURE I'M THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER FOR YOU.

Wait, what you want to know more?

Sure thing!

This is how I ended up as photographer.

I stole my first camera from my parents to capture all the silly things we got up to as teenagers. I ended up documenting EVERYTHING with absolutely no artistic vision or thought in the process. One night out I swapped the camera with some random Spanish dudes for a blackberry. It was not a smart exchange. even after setbacks somehow the joy of documenting stayed with me.
Quite a few years later a young lad was traveling through Rajasthan, India, with his friends.
India is full of colours, sents, atmosphere and magic that flashed by at every corner. It's completely unique. All these beautiful moments flew by and I couldn't capture any of them. Luckily some of my friends had fancy cameras with them and I was blown away by the fact they took images immediately. As a result I bought myself my first "real" camera and so my journy into photography begun.
2010 SundayTimes Travel Magazine had a competition with the prize of a holiday to Mauritius. I happen to have a good friend from Mauritus , and as a little joke with him I participated. I never seriously thought I had a chance.
Funnily enough on my birthday I got told I actually won. One of the best presents I have ever got (right after a ceramic Santa Claus with a couple shot gun shells, but that is a story for another time) Anyhow I was over the moon with the news and spured on by this i took part in another travel competition. I ended up coming 3rd and the following year 2nd for insight guide Travels. This really was the point that I realized that photography had more value than just the joy of doing it.
2014 I moved back to Finland quitting my office job, that had gone on for too long, looking for a fresh start. I had some savings and no job, so I thought to myself "why not give this photography thing a go" and thanks to my awesome clients I still haven't had to go back to the 9-5 routine.

In a nutshell that's my story.
